The celebration of your life Den, was just that….a celebration. Sure most of us cried at some point, but that is a good thing. We do that because we want you to be here to help brighten each day as we try to figure out this crazy life of ours.
We picked people that we thought could talk about the varied parts of your life. A highlight was Bill’s instrumentals and voice singing some of your favorite songs. We knew him to be a drummer and guitarist in the early days, but who knew he could sing….really sing!
The pastor honored you as you should be; he had both the optimism that you always carried along with the sensitivity that you uniquely had.
Den, in case you were not able to see the service, the place was packed. Yes, you filled up Brentwood Presbyterian Church and friends of yours came from as far as Seattle, Denver and Charlottesville.
As you would have wished “Anabelle”, your 1947 (termite truck) Woody was the centerpiece in most of the pictures.
We all hope that the memorial was one that you would have wanted. Good and faithful friend…
