Dennis and the rest of us would routinely spend “every” day of the summer (sometimes we’d have a mom drive us down to “touch” the sand so we could say we were at the beach!) at the Beach Club in Santa Monica, spending endless hours playing paddle tennis, body surfing, rafting and ordering burgers and shakes from Eddie at the grill.
